The Delgates approved an Ad Hoc Committee
with a mandate to report back to the 2011 Conventions with recommendations for the future of the Order. The membership has
not been informed or surveyed with regard to the future direction of the Order. There is a need for National, Association,
District and Lodge strategic planning for its future.

Delegates approved a motion that the Lodges be asked to support a one time assessment fee of $2.00
per member to support the Ad Hoc Committee on the future of the Order and that this assessment be billed in fall and the invoice
be accompanied by an explanatory letter.
ResolutionsThere
were 16 resolutions for the Constitution, one resolution for the Procedures and Floor Work Book and three uncirculated resolutions
presented. Highlights included:
Resolution No. 5 was approved as amended and approved
– that the position of Supreme Guard would be suspended for one year trial effective with this Convention.
All other circulated resolutions were
referred back to the National Judiciary Committee as there was no need to deal with all of the present resolutions until the
Ad Hoc committee had made its report.
One uncirculated resolution that was carried read:
Section 5, Article 11(b) District Deputy Nominee: A District Deputy serving a second consecutive term
in office is not eligible to be a nominee for the next term if another nominee is available. All nominees will be Members
in good standing of a Lodge in good standing within the District. A Junior Member cannot hold elected office.
The other two uncirculated resolutions were defeated.
